Mojahidul Named Recipient of the Data Center Reporting Excellence Award 2017

As a wrap-up to the 2nd edition of the International Data Centre Summit, the Data Centre Professionals Society of Bangladesh organized its Excellence Awards ceremony to recognize exceptional national and regional companies, along with industry leaders and ICT journalists, for their innovative initiatives and influential contributions throughout 2017.

The Data Centre Professionals Society of Bangladesh, in collaboration with an independent panel of judges, remains dedicated to acknowledging the best of the best in corporate growth, user experience, diversity and inclusion, technological deployment, ICT investment, corporate social responsibility (CSR), digital customer experience, and green initiatives. Furthermore, the specific award categories offered by the Data Centre Professionals Society of Bangladesh help the industry identify those driving notable transformations in particular niches, such as app journeys, employer initiatives, content governance, smart city acceleration, and digital storefront applications.

Commenting on the success of the event, Masud Parvaj, President of the Data Centre Professionals Society of Bangladesh and Chief Executive Officer of DCiCON Limited, stated, “A heartfelt thank you to all participants, distinguished speakers, and partners for their unwavering support for the huge success of the 18th Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit. The two days have been filled with excitement, networking, and knowledge sharing. Md. Mojahidul Islam received the Data Center Reporting Excellence Award 2017 for his contributions to the nation’s digital advancements. Masud Parvaj expressed gratitude to Mojahidul for his various reports and feature stories highlighting the country’s progress in ICT.

The award was presented by Masud Parvaj during the closing ceremony of the International Data Centre Summit 2017 on September 15, 2017. Mojahidul was recognized for his outstanding reporting on the promotion of ICT as a catalyst for social transformation.
