Dhanmondi won the toss, they chose to bowl first, which gave Mohammedan 50 overs to score 217 runs. Towhid Hridoy scored 53 runs off 47 balls without being out, and Mahidul Islam Ankon added 44 runs off of 77 balls. Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored 26 runs of Mohammedan win despite Nurul Hasan Sohan’s fighting century in Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket. Nurul Hasan was adjudged the Man of the Match.

A great hundred from Nurul Hasan Sohan wasn’t enough to save Dhanmondi Sports Club from losing. Mohammedan Sporting Club won by 23 runs in an exciting game at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on Friday.

Dhanmondi’s reply began with a fiery hit from Habibur Rahman, who hit 31 off of just 16 balls. The middle order, on the other hand, fell apart, leaving Nurul Hasan Sohan to fight by himself. The wicketkeeper-batter had a great game, hitting a hundred off 93 balls, but the other team didn’t help him. He was out after scoring 100 runs, and Dhanmondi’s score of 193 was 23 runs short.

Mohammad Saifuddin was Mohammedan’s best bowler. He took three wickets. Taijul Islam and Taskin Ahmed each took two wickets. Before, Kamrul Islam Rabbi took 3 wickets for Dhanmondi and Hasan Murad took 2 wickets.

Abahani secure hard-fought
2-wicket victory
Gazi Group Cricketers had a hard time getting going when they batted first because they kept losing wickets. Anamul Haque Bijoy, the Captain, worked hard and led the team to victory with a solid 68 off 76 balls, which included six fours and three sixes.

Gazi Group Cricketers lost to Abahani Limited by just two wickets in a tense Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match, even though they had many struggles to score runs. After Gazi Group scored 199 runs in 35.1 overs at BKSP Ground No. 4, Mohammad Mithun’s tough 76 off 77 balls was a key factor in his team’s win on Friday.

Gazi Group Cricketers had a hard time getting going when they batted first because they kept losing wickets. Anamul Haque Bijoy, the Captain, worked hard and led the team to victory with a solid 68 off 76 balls, which included six fours and three sixes. Together with Wasi Siddiquee, who scored 42 runs off 52 balls, he made an important 57-run combination. But besides Abdul Gaffar’s 27, no other hitter could make a big difference, and Gazi Group was out for 199 in just 35.1 overs.

The best bowler for Abahani was Mominul Haque, who took 4 wickets. Their disciplined bowling put pressure on Gazi Group throughout the game.

Abahani needed 200 runs to win, but they got off to a bad start by losing openers Parvez Hossain Emon and Jishan Alam for very little. But Mohammad Mithun and Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto kept the innings steady and formed an important combination. Shanto made a good 43 before he fell, which caused the middle order to fall apart.

But Mithun didn’t give up. He played a calm but aggressive 76 off 77 balls to get Abahani close to the target. After he was out, wickets kept falling, but Mominul Haque and Mosaddek Hossain made sure that Abahani made it through, giving them an exciting two-wicket win.
