Dhaka Abahani Limited thrashed Brothers Union 7-1 in their match of the Bangladesh Premier League Football at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj on Friday, while Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited drew with Rahmatganj MFS 3-3 goals at the Rafique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on the same day.
After yesterday’s outcome, Abahani collected 29 points from 16 matches, while Brothers Union remained with seven points from as many outings.
On the other hand, Mohammedan Sporting Club bagged 29 points from 16 matches, while Rahmatganj MFS earned 12 points from as many outings.
Thus, Dhaka Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club earned same points from as many matches.
Abahani’s Brazilian recruit Washington Brandao put his team ahead in the 10th minute of the match.
After the lemon-break, Washington made it 2-0 in the 64th minute of the match.
