Mohammedan Sporting Club blanked Fortis Sporting Club by 4-0 goal in the second phase of ABG Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football that resumed at the Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on Friday.
In the day’s match, Uzbek midfielder Muzaffar Muzaffarov, Malian forward Souleymane Diabate, forward Jafar Iqbal and midfielder Shahriar Emon scored one goal each for Mohammedan, which led the first half by 2-0 goal.
Muzaffar broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Mohammedan in the 41st minute, while Diabate doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 45+1st minute of the match from a spot kick.
After the breather, Jafar further widened Mohammedan’s margin scoring the third goal in the 53rd minute, while Emon completed the winners’ tally scoring the fourth goal in the 59th minute of the match.
With the day’s victory, the traditional black and white Motijheel based outfit Mohammedan secured 20 points from ten matches, while Fortis Football Club remained at their previous collection of twelve points playing the same number of matches.
