A – 27 -year old man’s body has has been recovered from the Meghna River at Bajitpur of Kishoreganj after missing for four days.
The deceased Rakib (27), son of late Shafi Miah. His body, with its throat slit, was found floating in the Meghna River in Bhairab’s Tok Chanpur area on Friday afternoon.
Victim ‘s family member Raiz said, on August, 10 , Rakib left his home with tk.500,and went to his friend Shawon ‘s house in Kukrai village of the same upazila. Rakib has not return home. I field a General Diary (GD) in Police Station.
Naval Outpost Officer-in-Charge(OC) of Bhairab, Md. Rasheduzzaman said that on Friday afternoon, based on information provided by locals, the police recovered the body of the young man.
His relatives were also present at the time. Initially, it is believed that the miscreants threw his body into the river after slitting his throat.
