A missing youth named Md. Asif (18) has been recovered alive in an operation conducted by the 2Armed Police Battalion (APBN), Muktagacha, Mymensingh.
Alongside, an air conditioner that went missing with him was also recovered.
The victim, Md. Asif, son of Md. Nayeb Ali, hailing from Para Tongi in Muktagacha, Mymensingh, had been working for a long time at a Walton showroom near the Trishal Bus Stand.
On the morning of July 19, 2025, while on duty at the showroom’s godown in Nandibari area, an unknown individual contacted him over the phone and deceitfully asked him to deliver an air conditioner to his residence.
