Mehidy Hasan Miraz got the wickets of Nkrumah Bonner who was on his way to a maiden century, however, Bonner pushes one from Miraz to leg slip and Mithun took a fine catch, resulting in the fall of 10 runs behind his century. With this, Miraz took his 99th Test wicket.
Earlier in the morning, Bonner and Joshua Da Silva began the day with a strong partnership of 88 runs. In the early session, Bangladesh failed to take any wicket, however, Miraz gifted the fans by taking the wicket of Bonner who scored 90 runs off 209 balls.
Earlier in Day 1, visiting West Indies scored 223/5 at stumps in the second and final Test at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Nation Stadium in the capital on Thursday.
Taijul and Rahi scalped two wickets each while Soumya Sarkar took one wicket. Miraz also took one wicket.
