National film award winning actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim and hero Siam Ahmed acted in a movie several years ago.
But that movie didn’t end. After that, they did not work together in any movie. Both of them were seen acting together in the movie ‘Antarjal’ directed by Dipankar Dipon.
A few days ago, Mim and Siam took part in a photo shoot of a local brand (clothes) of Bangladesh. Before this, they once participated in the photo shoot of the same organisation.
While talking in this regard, Mim told this correspondent, “Siam started working in the movie ‘Ittefaq’ directed by Raihan Rafi. However, the entire work of the movie is not finished. The movie was not even released. After that, the movie ‘Antarjaal’ of both of us was released. We got a good response from the audience. And a few days ago we participated in a photo shoot together. This photo shoot is mainly on the occasion of upcoming Durga Puja. Before that we participated together in the photo shoot of the same organisation. Besides, we have no plans to work in any new specialty movies for now. If the overall situation of the country becomes more normal, our film industry will be more accelerated. Now only the organisations which I have contract with which I am working regularly. I am hopeful that our industry will turn around again.”
Meanwhile Mim has already finished the movie ‘Digante Phuler Agun’ directed by Wahid Tarek. The movie is produced by Shomi Kaiser.
In the movie, Mim played the role of Panna Kaiser, the wife of the famous journalist, writer and intellectual martyr Shahidullah Kaiser.
However, before playing the role of Panna Kaiser, she died on August 4 this year before Mim met Panna Kaiser. Mim was supposed to meet Panna Kaiser that day.
Mim recently came into the limelight by acting in the movie ‘Poran’ directed by Raihan Rafi. Mim’s incredible performance in this movie greatly impressed the audience. This movie is also considered as the turning point of her acting career.
Sariful Razz and Yash Rohan acted opposite Mim in this movie.
It can be said that Bangladesh’s cinema industry has recently been boosted commercially with the movie ‘Poran’ starring Mim. Then movies ‘Hawa’, ‘Priyotoma’, ‘Surongo’, ‘Rajkumar’, ‘Toofan’ were added to that sequence.
