Last month, popular actress Bidya Sinha Mim had said that the New Year will be her comeback year. That is how she is progressing. She has already completed the shooting of a movie with Saif Chandan whose name is yet to be finalised. Now the actress has joined a new web film.
It will be directed by Kazi Asad. Initially, the movie has been named ‘Life Line’. It will be released on the OTT platform Chorki in 2026.
Mim officially signed a contract with this web film two days ago.
Mim said that she liked the story. She also said that she had not worked for so long because she did not like the story. “Many people want to know why I’m working less? Because the story itself was not suitable. Many story or work proposals came, but the story or the ancillary issues were not good. When Kazi Asad narrated this story and I saw his previous work in Chorki, I felt that the work needed to be done,” Mim said.
Mim will be presented in a completely new way in this web film.
Director Kazi Asad said, “Bidya Sinha Mim is a proven, talented and glamorous actress in our industry. We usually see her in a glamorous look. But the fun lies in how she can be broken down and presented to the audience in a new type of character. We have taken up that challenge.
I hope the audience will agree with me.” The director does not want to talk about the story right now. He only said that it will be made in the emotional drama genre. The story was written by Mahmudul Hasan Tipu and Kazi Asad. Asaduzzaman Abir wrote the screenplay with the director. Shooting will begin at the end of this month.
Chorki said that the names of Mim’s co-stars in this movie will be announced soon.
