After a few days, Mim got an opportunity to act opposite Mahfuz Ahmed in one of the best dramas of her career titled ‘Sarisreep’ under the direction of Mahfuz Ahmed.
The actress said that this drama is her favourite among all the dramas she has acted in so far.
Rulin Rahman directed drama ‘Sundor’ and Imran Howlader’s drama ‘Jadu,’ written by Jewel Elin, are also on her favourite list.
Of course, the drama ‘Jadu’ is still waiting for airing. Mosharraf Karim is opposite Mim in this drama.
Mim Chowdhury, who graduated from North South University, is now busy as an actress. She plays any kind of role nicely. That’s why she was offered to work in various story based dramas – sometimes for TV channels and sometimes for YouTube channels.
Mim works on her own understanding. She is also presenting on two different channels – ‘Star World’ on Banglavision, and ‘Global Music’ on Global TV.
Mim has also worked as a model in many advertisements.
Mim had the good fortune to act in the movie ‘Bhalobasa Express,’ directed by Safi Uddin Shafi, with Superstar Shakib Khan. After that, however, she did not act in any other movie. She is interested in working in good story based films.
Mim will act in two single episode dramas under the direction of Taifur Jahan Asik and S A Haque Alik the next few days. Her only drama serial currently airing on RTV is ‘Golmal’ directed by Kaiser Ahmed.
Mim Chowdhury has been honoured several times by various organisations as the best actress, model, and dancer.
Born on May 9, the daughter of Masud Chowhury and Rupa Chowdhury, Mim Chowdhury’s dream is to establish herself as a good actress.
She is constantly trying to develop herself in the way of acting life.
Regarding the 12 years of professional journey in the cultural arena of Bangladesh, Mim Chowdhury told this correspondent, “At one time my father used to sing and mother was involved in dancing. I am their child; I did not have to overcome any family adversity to get here. From the beginning, my parents gave me great inspiration, stayed with me, and also gave me courage. That’s why I was able to come a long way today. I want to go a long way. Maybe many people are working on good projects by lobbying. But if the acting is not done well, then no drawing will work. Therefore, I am satisfied with the extent to which I can advance in my own capacity without lobbying. I constantly break myself, I want to give full form to my acting, and I want to be one of the favourite of the audience.”
