An on-duty military police (MP) personnel was injured as a miscreant stabbed him with a sharp weapon near Kachukhet intersection at Dhaka Cantonment in the city on Tuesday morning. Contacted, Assistant Commissioner (Pallabi Zone) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Zakir Hossain said a man, wearing lungi, suddenly attacked the military policeman with ‘Ram Da’ (meat cleaver) around 10:00 am. However, the security personnel there detained the man along with the sharp weapon, AC Jakir added.
