A mild heatwave is currently sweeping across 10 districts in Bangladesh and may persist, according to the Meteorological Department. Additionally, rainfall has been forecasted for four divisions on Friday.
The districts experiencing the heatwave include Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Jashore, and Chuadanga.
In its 24-hour weather forecast issued on Thursday (April 3) at 9 AM, the Met Office stated that the country is likely to experience mostly dry weather with temporary partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures may remain nearly unchanged, while nighttime temperatures could rise slightly.
Meanwhile, on Friday, isolated rain, thunderstorms, or lightning accompanied by gusty winds are expected in some areas of Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
