A few days ago, director Sanjoy Somadder announced his new film ‘Insaaf’, which stars Mosharraf Karim, Sariful Razz and Tasnia
Farin in key roles.
In an exciting development, popular pop singer Mila Islam has lent her voice to a party song in the film marking her return to playback singing after seven years break.
The song, titled ‘Prem Pukure Borshi Fele Anbore Dhore’, written by Sudip Kumar, has been composed and arranged by Shouquat Ali Imon.
The filming for this song is set to begin soon, with actors Mosharraf Karim, Sariful Razz and Tasnia Farin expected to feature in the picturisation.
In an interview with a leading daily, Mila expressed her excitement about the project, saying, “It’s an amazing song. Imon Bhai thought of me for this song, and I’m grateful to him for that.
I’m really happy to be singing it. I am now more serious about my music than before.
In the future, I will be releasing more new songs. I am also trying to perform regularly on stage. Discussions are ongoing about several stage shows after Eid.”
Seven years ago, Mila last sang a song titled ‘Beara Prem’ for the movie ‘Mone Rekho’.
The lyrics were penned by SA Haque Olike, with the music composed and directed by Hridoy Khan. The movie was directed by Wajed Ali Sumon.
Meanwhile, the shooting for movie ‘Insaaf’ will begin on March 15 with filming taking place across various locations including Dhaka and Gazipur.
