Miftah Siddiqui, Joint Organizing Secretary of the National Executive Committee of BNP, said that the electoral process has now begun in the country. Our leader, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, has announced a 31-point reform program to rebuild the country and repair the state structure. This 31-point program has become a charter of liberation for the common people today. If BNP gets the opportunity to run the state, these 31 points will be implemented, and only if the 31 points are implemented will it be possible to build a truly happy, prosperous and self-reliant Bangladesh. Therefore, work must start now to make the paddy sheaf symbol victorious in the upcoming national elections. It must be reached to the marginalized people to form public opinion in favor of the 31-point program announced by Tarique Rahman.
He also said, Jaintapur, Gowainghat and Companiganj upazilas are rich in natural resources. The great Lord has given us natural resources in a very beautiful way. These resources should be utilized while maintaining the balance of the environment. It is possible to develop a tourism hub here along with the extraction of natural resources through a sustainable and long-term plan in this area. If this is possible, on the one hand, natural resources can be extracted, on the other hand, new employment opportunities will also be created. And to make all this possible, the paddy sheaf must be made victorious in this area in the next national elections, the hand of public leader Tarique Rahman must be strengthened. For this, we all have to unite in favor of the paddy sheaf symbol.
He said these things at various programmes in Gowainghat and Jaintapur upazilas throughout the day on Friday.
At the beginning of the day-long program, he exchanged greetings with the Muslims after offering Jummah prayers at the Jaflong Zamindar Bari Mosque in East Jaflong Union of Gowain Upazila.
