Mexico will step up their preparations for next year’s CONCACAF Gold Cup and FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a friendly against Wales in March, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) said on Monday. The clash will be played at Cardiff City stadium on March 27, according to an FMF statement.
Mexico have never lost to Wales, having won two and drawn two of their previous four encounters. The Gold Cup, the continental championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, will be played in the United States from July 10 to August 1 next year.
