On the occasion of the 95th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I am pleased toextend my warmest greetings and felicitation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques,King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed binSalman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may Allah protect them – andto the noble Saudi people.
The National Day is a precious occasion on which we recall the path of unification andconstruction, the foundations of which were laid by the founder, King Abdulaziz binAbdulrahman Al Saud – may Allah have mercy upon him – which has led the Kingdom tobecome a global model for development and progress today, along with the ambitious“Saudi Vision 2030,” which has set the Kingdom on the path to a more prosperous andsustainable future.
This precious occasion comes at a time when fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh are witnessing increasingdevelopment in various fields.
The partnership between the two countries has expanded toinclude trade, investment, industry, and energy, in addition to the cooperation in diplomaticand humanitarian fields, reflecting the deep historical ties and fraternal bonds between theleadership and people of the two countries.
The volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Bangladesh has reached toadvanced levels, exceeding $1 billion, and witnessing constant growth year after year.
Thisreflects the two countries’ commitment to firming economic cooperation and supportingjoint investment opportunities.
The Kingdom is considered a major destination forBangladeshi workers, who contribute their efforts and contributions to the Kingdom’s development process, while their remittances represent an important tributary to theBangladeshi economy.
Cooperation between our two countries is not limited to the economic aspect alone.
It alsoextends to coordinating positions in international forums, supporting the causes of theIslamic Ummah, and working together to promote international peace and security.
On this precious national occasion, I affirm the Kingdom’s embassy’s commitment incontinuing to work with our brothers in Bangladesh in order to consolidate thesedistinguished relations and advance them to broader horizons, to achieve the benefits ofboth countries and their brotherly peoples.
May the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia be blessed with goodness, security, and prosperity everyyear.
