Mesbah Uddin Khan wins National Export Trophy Gold Medal

Windy Apparels’ a renowned export-oriented garment company, has won the gold medal of the National Export Trophy for its significant contribution to the national economy through garment exports in the 2021-2022 fiscal year. The Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presented the National Export Trophy’s gold medal to Mesbah Uddin Khan CIP, Managing Director of Windy Apparels Limited. The award distribution ceremony was held on July 14, 2024, at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital.

Over this long period, the organization has played a crucial role in the country’s economic development by earning foreign currency, and the Windy Group has also created a vast number of employment opportunities. He further stated that they are working to create new markets for Bangladeshi readymade garments worldwide. They are aiming to create a $500 million export market by generating employment for 30,000 people by 2030.

He has been elected as a Commercially Important Person- CIP multiple times for his contributions to the export sector. He was recently elected as a director in the overwhelming vote of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association- BGMEA election.
