On December 3 and 4, singer Kona shared two pictures of her hands with mehendi (henna) on social media. After that, rumours arose that the artiste is getting married again. Kona herself added fuel to the fire of rumours.
Although she posted the picture, Kona did not say anything else about it. As a result, rumours of Kona’s marriage quickly spread.
Last Friday, it was learned that this was actually a song promotion because, Kona’s new song ‘Mehendi’ was released that evening.
The wedding rumours that have been spread by the photo of a hand with ‘mehendi’ have come to the attention of some people. But she didn’t think it would spread so much.
In this regard, Kona told media, “I shared the picture of the shooting of the song titled ‘Mehendi’ on Facebook. I wrote ‘Mehendi’ on my hand with the picture of my hand. I didn’t understand what would happen after that. Many people called me and asked what the real story was. I didn’t know what to say. Besides, the song was supposed to be released the next day. Then the whole matter would be clear. So, I kept quiet. I have nothing personal to do with this picture; it has nothing to do with my marriage. It’s just a song.”
The song ‘Mehendi’ was jointly written by Badhan and Jamshed Chowdhury. Nish has sung the vocals along with Kona. The music of the song has been arranged by Sanjoy. The video has been directed by Chandan Roy Chowdhury and Riaz Ali.
Sunerah, Maisha Nazia, Manjita Roy and a few others have been models. Kona is also seen in the video. The video of the song ‘Mehendi’ has been released on the Kinetic Music YouTube channel. The song has received about 2 million views in 24 hours of its release.
Kona said that she is having a busy time with her songs. Kona’s first theme song for BKSP was released last week.
Earlier, Kona’s song titled ‘Bhitor O Bahire’, composed by Fuad Al Muktadir, was released in November. In addition, she is working on several songs with US-based musician Muza. The singer said that the songs will be released continuously.
