Trust and Pay (TAP), one of Bangladesh’s leading Mobile Financial Services (MFS) providers, operated under the Army Welfare Trust, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Meena Bazar, a concern of Gemcon Food & Agricultural Products Ltd and one of the country’s largest supermarket chain shops.
Under this partnership, Meena Bazar will use TAP for B2B payment collection, utility bill payments and also enable tap customers to pay Meena Bazar shopping through merchant payments.
The signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from both the organizations, Ujjal Das, head of finance, and Mohammad Faizul Haq, head of operations, attended from Meena Bazar, while SM Akram Sayeed, CEO, Md Nazrul Islam Zaman, COO, Md Alamgir Hossain, head of partnership management from TAP, including other senior officials from both the organizations were present in the signing ceremony.
This partnership aims to enhance Meena Bazar’s payment processes, providing their customers and business partners with a seamless, secure, and efficient digital payment experience.
Both organizations are optimistic that this collaboration will drive greater adoption of digital financial solutions and streamline payment systems for Meena Bazar’s extensive customer base.
