MBA becomes champion at AIUB Football Cup

The Final match of a 7-day football tournament “AIUB World Cup 2014” of American International University – Bangladesh was held in the Banani Club Ground in the city recently.
32 teams from different departments (both undergraduate and graduate) and two faculty / officers team took part in the tournament. In the final, Portugal (MBA) defeated the Uruguay (EEE) team by 5-3 goal and became the Champion. Mahip of Uruguay (EEE) became the best player of the tournament while Shaffy (Uruguay) was the highest scorer of the tournament scoring 9 goals.
Habibullah from the champion team was selected as the man of the match in the final.
Dr Charles C Villanueva, Pro vice Chancellor and Dean (Faculty of Business Administration), Abdul Kader Nazmul, Director (BBA Program and Coordinator, Office of Sports), were present during the final match and distributed prizes, trophies and certificates to the players. AIUB officials and a large number of students were also present and enjoyed the final match and also prize distribution ceremony.
