Mayor of the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Md Atiqul Islam inaugurating the Udayachal Park by releasing the balloons as the chief guest in the city’s Mohammadpur on Saturday. After the opening of the Park, a friendly cricket match was held there between DNCC team and Indian High Commission team on the same day. President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon, MP, Md Sadek Khan, MP, of Dhaka-13 and Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Shri Vikram Kumar Doraiswami were present at the time as special guests. DNCC team defeated Indian High Commission team by 172 runs.
