MASTUL Foundation, a renowned humanitarian organisation from Bangladesh, has extended its support to the starving children of Gaza.

Due to the ongoing conflict, children in Gaza are suffering from severe malnutrition, food shortages, and a lack of safe shelter.

Every day, countless children are dying from hunger, and in recent times, the number of these deaths has increased alarmingly.

Amid this crisis, MASTUL Foundation has been consistently providing nutritious food, baby food, and emergency assistance to children, says a press release.

Since 2024, MASTUL Foundation has been supplying dry food, milk, baby food, and safe drinking water to the children of Gaza.

During every Ramadan and Eid-ul-Adha, special relief programmes are conducted to distribute iftar meals and other food supplies.

Additionally, the organisation is delivering primary healthcare services and medicines to protect children’s health.

MASTUL Foundation’s work is not limited to food distribution alone. Donations, zakat, fitra, and sadaqah collected from the people of Bangladesh are being used to support the children of Gaza.

MASTUL Foundation’s Founder and Executive Director, Kazi Reaz Rahman, said: “The children of Gaza are living not only with hunger but also with fear and uncertainty.

Every day, in their eyes, we see the pain of not having food and the sorrow of insecurity. MASTUL Foundation believes that if a child can have a peaceful and safe mealtime, they will learn to dream about tomorrow.

That is why, under any circumstances, we are committed to delivering support to these innocent souls.”

MASTUL Foundation is a registered and reputable national service organisation under the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

For more than a decade, it has been tirelessly working to improve the lives of underprivileged people and children across the country. Its humanitarian activities include: providing funeral services during the COVID-19 pandemic; distributing emergency relief to victims of the devastating floods of 2022 and 2024; and delivering humanitarian assistance on behalf of the people of Bangladesh to the victims of the 2023 earthquake in Turkey.

One of MASTUL Foundation’s most successful projects, “Zakat Swabalombi”, has created sustainable employment opportunities for countless underprivileged individuals and youth, helping them become self-reliant.

The foundation also distributes free meals daily to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in various parts of the capital. In addition, MASTUL Foundation operates its own madrasa, shelter home, orphanage, and guest house in Barikhali, Hazaribagh, Dhaka.

According to the regulations of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), any amount of Zakat, donation, or charity given to MASTUL Foundation is exempt from income tax. In other words, donations made to MASTUL Foundation are considered tax-deductible for the donors.
