Master Da Surya Sen, the leader of the anti-British movement, was a fearless patriot. He took the freedom movement of the subcontinent a long way through the youth rebellion. He gave motivation and courage to the freedom movement of the people by accelerating the movement of liberation from the shackles of subjugation.
President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Railways ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP said these while paying tribute to the built sculpture in front of the Master Da Surya Sen Memorial Library in Raozan on the 130th birth anniversary of Master Da Surya Sen on Wednesday.
At that time, Upazila Chairman Ehchanul Haider Chowdhury Babul, Upazila Awami League Senior Vice President Anwarul Islam, Municipal Mayor Zamir Uddin Parvez, Panel Mayor Bashir Uddin Khan, Advocate Sameer Das Gupta, Chairman of Raozan Union Parishad No 7 BM Jasim Uddin Hiru, Master Da Surya Sen Smriti, Library president Shyamal Kumar Palit, Raujan College Acting Principal Salim Newaz Chowdhury, Councilor Haji Iqbal, Awami League leaders Nazrul Islam, Kamrul Islam, Sumon Dey, Abdul Latif, Jubo League’s Tapan Dey, Abu Saleh, Chhatra League’s Anup Chakraborty, among others were present. Later, various social, cultural and political organizations paid tribute to the bust of Master Da Surya Sen.
