Martyred Intellectual Day was observed at the initiative of the Baraigram Upazila administration of Natore. On the day, wreath-laying, discussion and prayers were held at the Kalikapur mass grave on Saturday evening.
A discussion meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous and it was conducted by Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Rafiqul Islam. It was also addressed, among others by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Ashraful Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Baraigram Police Station Md. Sirajul Islam, Joint Convener of Upazila BNP and Former UP Chairman Lecturer Abdul Alim, Convener of Bonpara Municipality BNP Professor M.A. Lutfar Rahm an, freedom fighter Abuul Khair.
