‘Maritime institute’s training quality recognised worldwide’

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Shipping Mohammad Yusuf said that the quality of training at the Maritime Institute has been recognised by the International Maritime Organization and the European Union’s Maritime Safety Agency.
Therefore, to maintain the quality of training, its quality must be maintained.
The Senior Secretary said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the training closing parade of the 27th batch of ratings of the National Maritime Institute Chattagram and the 16th batch of Madaripur on Tuesday.
He said that a large number of sailors from among the ratings trained from this institute have passed the competitive examination and are working professionally in various positions with expertise.
Commodore Md. Shafiul Bari was the special guest, presided over by Captain Ataur Rahman, Principal of the National Maritime Institute Chattagram, and Naval Engineer Mohammad Shahidullah, Acting Principal of the National Maritime Institute Madaripur.
The event was attended by military and civilian dignitaries, representatives of domestic and foreign ship owners and agents, teachers, students, government officials, and guardians.
