Chittagong Bureau :Ruling party- backed and the nominee of Chittagong Nagarik Committee in CCC mayoral race AJM Nasir alleged that BNP- backed Mayoral nominee Manzoor Alam distributing money among the voters to purchase votes. He disclosed it to the journalists at his residence before starting mass contact programme yesterday morning . Nasir told the journalists that my rival Manzoor is very clever man and he know the tactics of purchasing votes and he silently doing this . He also mentioned that in last 2010 election, he adopted same practices alongwith the commitment to resolve the city’s waterlogging problems. He also blamed that being a old Awami Leaguer , Manzoor had cordial friendship with many AL leaders and he is trying to convince them with different ways. Nasir also blamed that BNP nominee is moving within the slum areas and to the doors of the poors specifically to offer money instead of votes.
