Dallywood’s popular actress Dilara Hanif Purnima made such a comment in a recent event. The actress feels that many performers are deliberately promoting negative news to rise above.
While opening a restaurant in Dhaka recently, Purnima said, “When we worked, we talked about our work. And we tried to keep personal life private. We used to be very afraid that some senior journalists would not understand and write this, the news would come out without sin. I was afraid if a writing (negative) came out. We were so afraid of negativity. Now the picture has changed. Many people cash in on the negativity and rise above.”
Purnima is no longer acting in regular movies. In this regard, the popular actress told this correspondent, “As per my age and condition, I want to play the kind of role I want to play in the movies that are currently playing on the big screen. At this stage of my career, I cannot play any role. I am working less because I am not getting the kind of character I want. But I get many offers of OTT platform works. But I can’t adapt myself to the characters.”
Purnima starrer movie ‘Ahare Jibon’ is waiting to release. Chhatku Ahmed made this movie with the government grant. Ferdous Ahmed acted opposite her in this movie.
Besides, Purnima starrer and Noim Imtiaz Neyamul directed two movies – ‘Jam’ and ‘Gunchil’ are under making.
Meanwhile, Purnima is also seen in acting as well as presentation.
