A man was run over by a tractor at Sadar upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Friday morning.
A rickshaw puller by profession, deceased Milon Mia, 40, was a resident of Ankhitara village under Sarail upazila in the district.
Witnesses said a sand-laden tractor hit Milon while he was drinking tea standing beside a road at Sherpur Mazar Gate area in the district town, leaving him dead on the spot.
Confirming the matter, Khantihata Highway Police Station officer in-charge Mahbubur Rahman said legal action would be taken if police received a written complaint.
