Mamo coming up with two new web series

Zakia Bari Mamo is having a great time since the beginning of this year. At the beginning of the year, two movies – ‘Ora 7 Jon’ and ‘Radio’ starring her were released in theatres. Both the movies are made in the context of the Great Liberation War. Mamo’s performance has been praised by the audience.
Mamo’s omnipresence is also there. The web series ‘Mercules’ starring Mamo was released last Eid. She was seen in the role of a female lead in the series.
A character who runs day and night against women’s rights and rape. Sabila Nur, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Mamunur Rashid, Rownak Hasan, Rashed Mamun Apu, etc also acted in the series directed by Abu Shahed Emon.
Mamo informed about two new web series after ‘Mercules’, two new series will be released on two different platforms next month. One is ‘Sharey Showlo’ directed by Yasir Al Haq, and the other is Siddique Ahmed’s ‘Agochora’.
The web series ‘Sharey Showlo’ is based on the mysterious floor of a hotel. Director Yasir Al Haq told this correspondent, “There is thrill in every moment of this story which will hold the interest of the audience from the first episode to the last episode of the series. Every stage of the story will give the audience new food for thought.”
Mamo played the role of journalist Rini in the series. About her character, the actress told this correspondent, “Rini is a famous TV journalist of this city. Any time she is likely to be the Head of News. She has upheaval with the city’s powerful millionaires. She is regular guest at Violet Inn Hotel. But to know why Rini came to the half-sixteen floor of Violet Inn Hotel that night, viewers have to wait until the release of the series.”
Actor Afran Nisho will be seen in the role of a lawyer in the ‘Sharey Showlo’ series. There are also Intekhab Dinar, Imtiaz Barshan, etc. The series will be released on August 17 on OTT platform, Hoi Choi.
On the other hand, Siddique Ahmed made a six-episode web series titled ‘Agochora’ based on the story of the underworld of old Dhaka. About the series, director Siddique Ahmed said, “This series is about how an ordinary boy becomes a victim of politics and gets involved in the underworld.”
The first look poster of the series has been released recently. The trailer will be released in August. The director did not want to break the secret of the story before that. He will give details about the series after the release of the trailer. Mamo’s character in web series ‘Agochora’ is called ‘Monika’.
Zakia Bari Mamo is reluctant to say anything beyond that. Intekhab Dinar, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Imtiaz Barshan and many others acted with Mamo in this web series.
The director said that the series will be released first on OTT platform, Binge.
