Major General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 9 Infantry Division based at Savar has been promoted to Lieutenant General.
He will take over as the GOC of Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC) at the Mymensingh Cantonment. Major General Waker-Uz-Zaman will replace him as GOC of 9 Infantry Division.
