A complete strike of teachers is going on in 96 primary schools in Madhukhaliupazila of Faridpur to protest the implementation of 10th grade and attacks on teachers. Teaching is completely suspended due to the teachers’ strike.
On visiting various primary schools today, Monday, it was seen that teachers are spending idle time in the office rooms, leaving teaching behind.
Local guardians are worried and anxious due to the suspension of teaching. Students are very worried. And what will happen to their annual exams in a few days.
General Secretary of MadhukhaliUpazila Primary Teachers’ Association Md. Khairuzzaman said that as part of the central program, teachers’ strike in 96 schools in Madhukhali, like the rest of the country, is being suspended in protest of the police attack on teachers protesting in Dhaka, including the three-point teachers’ strike. If the government accepts our demands, we will return to class.
