The MadhukhaliUpazila Health Complex of Faridpur was built in 1996 on 3 acres of 84 percent land as a 31-bed hospital.

Realizing the importance of the hospital, the government laid the foundation stone of the hospital on October 5, 2013 with the aim of upgrading it to 50 beds for the then Faridpur-1 constituency.

The contractor started the work in 2013 and the 50-bed hospital building was constructed at a cost of 10 crore 50 lakh taka. Which was handed over to the hospital authorities by the contractor on June 15, 2015.

The four-storey hospital building with 50 beds was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister on March 29, 2017, to upgrade the MadhukhaliUpazila Health Complex from 31 beds to 50 beds. Although almost 10 years have passed since its inauguration, its activities have not yet started.
