On the day of Eid (June 17), a special Eid programme titled ‘Tarar Mela’ has been made in Chattogram for broadcasting at 9:30pm in Chattogram Centre of Bangladesh Television (BTV).
Zinia Zafrin Luipa, popular singer of this generation, sang in the programme ‘Tarar Mela’, which was planned and directed by Nur Anwar Ranju, General Manager of BTV in Chattogram Centre.
Luipa said that in this event, she will be seen singing the popular song ‘Rongila Haway’ in her voice.
Regarding talking about rendering songs in this programme, Luipa told this correspondent, “I was really happy to participate in BTV’s special show ‘Tarar Mela’ at Chattogram Centre. Because we participate in all the programmes of BTV, it actually happens in Dhaka, BTV’s Rampura Bhaban. So, the experience this time was completely different. The sincerity of Ranju Bhai, the General Manager of BTV’s Chattogram centre, impressed us. Sitting in Chattogram, he makes beautiful plans; this year’s Eid ‘Tarar Mela’ proves it. Had a great time, the organisation was amazing.
I hope everyone will like this year’s ‘Tarar Mela’. I give thanks to Ranju Bhai to everyone in Chattogram Centre of BTV.”
It is noted that the song ‘Rongila Haway’ was released on Luipa’s own YouTube channel, ‘Luipa’ on April 5, 2021. The song was written by journalist A Mizan.
National film award winning music director Shaukat Ali Imon composed the music of the song. The music video of the song was jointly directed by Alamgir Hossain and Tanvir Ahmed.
Film actor Roshan worked as a model in the music video of the song.
Luipa’s co-star in the song was Shaukat Ali Imon. Meanwhile, Luipa’s last stage show before Eid was in Cumilla.
