Musician Sania Sultana Liza has sung a new song to the tune of composer and musician Hridoy Khan. The song is titled ‘Nei Odhikar’. Hridoy Khan has also arranged the music for the song, written by rapper Tawfiq Ahmed. The music video of the song was shot in Cox’s Bazar under the direction of Chandan Roy Chowdhury. Mohtaram Billah was the model with Liza in the video.
Announcing the new song on Facebook, Liza wrote, “This is a song of loss, a story of silent pain, where there is love, but no demands.
This is my first journey with this kind of song. I hope that ‘Nei Odhikar’ will touch your hearts. Stay tuned, our love song is coming soon.” About this new song, Liza said, “The song ‘Nei Odhikar’ is my personal favourite. Because, it has gone beyond the type of songs I sing and tried something different. The lyrics of the song written by rapper Tawfiq Ahmed will touch your heart. Hridoy Khan has put a great tune on those words.
Director Chandan Roy Chowdhury has brought those words to life in the video shot in Cox’s Bazar. The director has tried to portray me in a different light in the video. I have also tried to work according to his instructions. Overall, I liked the song ‘Nei Odhikar’. I hope the audience will like it too.”
Liza said that the music video for song ‘Nei Anurodh’ will be released on her official YouTube channel tomorrow. On the other hand, Liza is serving as a judge on the children’s music reality show ‘RTV Little Star’. She came to Europe on a musical tour a few months ago. Liza performed in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Spain during a 25-day Europe tour at the invitation of expatriate Bangladeshis.
