Livestock exhibition inaugurated

The Livestock Exhibition Fair-2025 was officially inaugurated on Wednesday morning in Baraigram Upazila of Natore to celebrate National Livestock Week. A colorful rally and discussion meeting were held on the day.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous inaugurated the fair as the chief guest at a function presided over by Upazila Livestock Officer Md. Nur Alam Siddiqui at the premises of the Upazila Livestock Office.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Zubayer Jahangir, Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Md. Murad Hossain, Upazila Agriculturist Sajeeb Al Maruf and Officer-in-Charge of Baraigram Police Station Md. Golam Sarwar Hossain spoke as special guests.

In addition, successful farmers Mamata Khatun and Emran Hossain spoke there. 20 stalls were set up on the inaugural day.

Domestic, foreign and improved breeds of poultry, birds, pigeons, cows, buffaloes, goats and horses are displayed in the stalls. An eager crowd gathers at the exhibition fair to see the animals.
