Prolific opener Litton Das spent a bad time now-a-days. He has been dropped from the 15-member Bangladesh Cricket squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy.
On Sunday last, he hammered a terrific innings at Dutch-Bangla Bank Bangladesh Premier League Cricket at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
Litton Das played a tornado 125-run innings playing 55 deliveries. Yesterday he got a good news from Pakistan. The players’ draft of Pakistan Super League (PSL) was held on Monday. Karachi Kings have included Litton Das in their squad for the ensuing PSL.
The players’ auction was held at Lahore Fort in Pakistan on Monday. Litton’s base price his US$ 25 thousand.
Promising speedster Nahid Rana has been included by Peshawar Zalmi. Nahid Rana’s base price is US$ 50 thousand.
Promising leg spinner Rishad Hossain has been picked up by Lahore Qualanders. His base price is US$ 25 thousand.
It may be mentioned that a total of 510 foreign cricketers have been enrolled their names in the PSL players’ draft.
The Pakistani cricketers also have registered their names for PSL players’ draft.
It is noteworthy that a number of 39 Bangladeshi cricketers have enrolled their names in the PSL players’ auction.
The three Bangladeshi cricketers have been picked by the first option of the players’ draft of PSL. The other cricketers may be included by the franchises of PSL.
It is mentionable that ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman have also submitted their names for the players’ auction of PSL.
They were not Included in any of the teams, which will compete in the ensuing PSL.
