Lightning kills two in Sherpur

Two women were killed in lightning at Koyakura village in Nakla Upazila of Sherpur district on Wednesday noon. The deceased were identified as Nurunnahar (45) wife of Md Shahidul Islam and Bilkis Pervin (12)daughter of Abul Kalam of Koyakura village of the district.
Sources said Nurunnahar went to field with Bilkis to bring cows. On the way of home thunderbolt suddenly hit them and they died on spot. Officer- in- Charge of Nakla thana Golam Haider confirmed the incident.
