Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over a northern division; at a few places over the country’s north-central, south and south-eastern regions and at one or two places over north and two southern districts including Dhaka with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.

“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur division; at a few places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country”, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours begins from 9 am on Friday, reports BSS.

The axis of monsoon trough runs through Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal to Assam across the central part of Bangladesh. One of its associated troughs extends up to North Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
