Legendary pop musician Jane Alam has died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital around 10 pm on Tuesday. He was 65. Zahirul Islam Sohel, head of the production, CD Choice confirm his death.
He said Jane Alam was infected with COVID-19 a month ago. After recovering from the disease, his condition worsened due to pneumonia. Today he was taken to life support.
Born in Harirampur, Manikganj, Jane Alam debuted in the music industry soon after the Independence. The number of songs sung by him is more than 4000. There are also about 3000 songs written, composed and directed by him.
