TV Star: Legal notice to Tanjin Tisha

Entertainment Report :

Actress Tanjin Tisha has been accused of fraud by a female entrepreneur named Jhinuk.

The allegation against Tisha is that she did not advertise as promised about a saree from an online fashion house called ‘Eponia’. However, Tisha said that she received the saree as a gift.

On behalf of ‘Eponia’ Fashion Page, Executive Md Aminul Islam, Bangladesh Supreme Court lawyer Salimullah Sarkar has sent a legal notice to Tisha.

The notice states, “After delivering the saree to Tisha’s house, she repeatedly promised her a promotion, but she didn’t do so even after 10 months; in fact, she didn’t even keep in touch for six months.

The entrepreneur claimed that Tisha cheated by breaking her trust. When the matter was published in various online and other newspapers, she wrote from her verified Facebook ID, ‘I became a fraudster after receiving the gift’, which is not desirable from a well-known actress like you in the country and the statement is completely defamatory, ugly, fabricated and a mere trick to hide the truth.”

The notice also states that Tanjin Tisha must pay the price of the saree worth Tk 28,800 and compensation of Tk 1 lakh within 7 days and publicly
apologise. Otherwise, a case will be filed against her under the Bangladesh Penal Code.
