Chairman of National Life Insurance Company Limited Alhaj Morshed Alam MP was present as the chief guest. Amal Krishna Mondal, Additional Secretary, Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance was present as guest of honor. National Life Insurance Company Limited CEO Md. National Life has so far covered nearly 67 lakh people, earned premium income of Tk 17,181 crore and paid out Tk 10,124 crore. Currently, the company’s life fund is Tk 5,357 crore, assets Tk 6,064 crore and investment around Tk 5,545 crore. Currently, the company employs about two lakh people directly and indirectly, including about 5,000 salaried employees. The company has received state recognition for paying the highest insurance claims, two national awards in 2023 and 2024 by Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, top tax payer award and numerous domestic and foreign awards for important contributions to national policy.
Around 40,000 insurance workers gathered in Cox’s Bazar. And the company marched through a huge rally.
