The monthly meeting of the Law and Order Committee of Baraigram Upazila of Natore was held on Tuesday at the Upazila Parishad auditorium.
The meeting was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous. In addition among others, the meeting was addressed by Upazila Agriculture Officer (Acting) Md. Mahadi Hasan, Upazila Education Officer Md. Mizanur Rahman, Upazila Social Service Officer Md. Rezaul Karim, Officer-in-Charge of the Police Station Md. Sirajul Islam, Gopalpur UP Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Abu Bakar Siddique, Nagar UP Chairman Mostafa Samsuzzoha, Jonail UP Chairman Abul Kalam Azad, Bir Muktijoddha Boyat Reza, President of Baraigram Smart Press Club Alhaj Saifur Rahman. The meeting discussed several issues including traffic congestion in Bonpara Municipality, recovery of weapons and arrest of accused in the shooting incident in Gopalpur Union, prevention of drugs and child marriage, village courts etc.
