A Munshiganj bound launch named Rabita Al Hasan with more than 50 passengers capsized in the Shitalakshya river in Narayanganj. The accident happened on Sunday afternoon.
It is learned that the launch runs on the Narayanganj-Munshiganj route. The launch capsized with about 50 passengers in the Shitalakshya river following a collision with a cargo ship on its way to the destination on Sunday afternoon.
Rescue ships have set out to rescue the missing after receiving the news.
