Latif Nejami’s residence raided

The police conducted a raid at the residence of Maulana Abdul Latif Nejami, chairman of Islami Oikya Jote, on Thursday evening, family members of the 19-party alliance leader said.
He was not at his home at Gupibag area in the city during the police raid. His family members said that a team of Wari Thana Police conducted the raid.
Contacted, duty officer of the thana Mamun Reza told The New Nation that they don’t know anything about the raid.
