He was then brought to the Incentive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. In July last year, the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 found Prof Azam guilty of wartime crimes and sentenced him to 90 years in prison, instead of the of capital punishment due to the nonagenarian age.
