A seven-episode drama series titled ‘Modhumala’ has been produced for broadcast on Maasranga TV during the upcoming Eid.
Directed by Sokal Ahmed, the serial is written by Brindaban Das.
This generation’s actress, Labonno Liza, played one of the main roles in the Eid series.
Labonno Liza is very excited to act in this serial directed by Sokal Ahmed.
While sharing her feelings in this regard, Labonno Liza told this correspondent, “Acting is my profession. Now I love acting in my heart. That’s why when I stand in front of the camera; I try to portray the character well.
It can be said that this acts as a kind of challenge in my mind to portray my character appropriately. I tried to portray my character 100 per cent in the seven-episode Eid serial ‘Modhumala’. I hope viewers will enjoy the serial in Eid.”
Pran Roy acted opposite Labonno Liza in the serial.
The actress said that under Sokal Ahmed’s direction, she is acting in another drama serial titled ‘Biswas Bonam Sarkar’ which will go on air soon in a satellite channel.
Therefore, Liza is also acting in serial ‘Pagla Hawa’, directed by Shoraf Ahmed Jibon; serial ‘Matha Gorom Family’, and ‘Foul Jamai’, directed by Taifur Jahan Ashiq; and ‘Shadi Mobarak’, directed by Shamim Zaman.
The only movie starring Labonno Liza is ‘Game Returns’ directed by Royel Khan.
In the meantime, Liza came into discussion to act in drama ‘Mayer Bari’, sequel of Monir Hossain directed drama titled ‘Mayer Golpo’.
The actress said that there is also her acted sequel typed drama for the upcoming Eid.
Liza has also been praised for her impeccable performances in recent telefilms and dramas including Salauddin Lavlu’s ‘Lal Pipra Kalo Pipra’, Bornonath’s ‘Babar Ashroy’, ‘Babar Kosto’, and ‘Mayer Chhele Sontan;’ Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury’s ‘Sohager Songsar’, and ‘Shali Amar Moner Moton’, etc.
Basically Labonno Liza told this correspondent that she wants to establish herself as a good actress.
