The Interim Government has launched a user-friendly app, ‘Labbaik’, developed to ensure smooth Hajj services for pilgrims.

The app was inaugurated by the Chief Adviser to the Interim Government, Prof Muhammad Yunus, at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka on Monday.

Urging pilgrims to use the app, Prof Yunus stated, “This app, Labbaik, will play a pivotal role in helping pilgrims perform Hajj without trouble or hassle.”

He highlighted that the app includes various services, including health-related support, allowing pilgrims to focus fully on their religious duties.

The app will be available for use starting with this year’s Hajj pilgrimage. However, Prof Yunus directed the relevant ministries and departments to actively work towards improving the app for next year’s pilgrimage, ensuring a smoother journey for pilgrims.

He also emphasized the importance of learning from countries with advanced Hajj management systems.

The Chief Adviser also recommended that the app be continuously improved, ensuring it remains user-friendly and free of bugs in the future.
In addition to launching the app, Prof Yunus also inaugurated the Hajj prepaid card and Hajj roaming package facilities.

Religious Affairs Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain, Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, and Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb were present at the event.
