News Desk :
Kuwait has decided allow its government employees to work only four hours, with additional provisions for grace periods during the upcoming month of Ramadan.

Women will receive two 15-minute grace periods, and men will receive one, reports Gulf News.

The report says that female employees can come to the office 15 minutes after the start of working hours and leave 15 minutes before the end.

Male employees have the opportunity to come 15 minutes late in the morning. However, men have to work an additional 15 minutes after the end of office hours.

The decision was made after evaluating the performance of the employees by the Financial and Administrative Sector of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) of Kuwait.

Salah Khaled Al Saqabi, the assistant undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs, said that eligible employees in various offices of the country will receive a performance bonus during the month of Ramadan, which has been included in the fiscal year 2023-24 budget.

He further said that most ministries, government institutions, and agencies have finalized employee performance evaluation reports.
