A visit to the Robirbazar Raw Market area shows that there are more than two thousand shops, both large and small, in Robirbazar and Raw Market. The pond occupies 26 percent of the area in the middle of the market. Previously, it was used for various purposes.
Locals used to use the pond water. Due to lack of supervision, the pond has now become a dumping ground for garbage. The stench and pollution are spreading all around.
