Kulaura gets new OC

Muhammad Moniruzzaman Mullah has joined Kulaura Police Station as the new OC. He took over from outgoing OC Md Omar Farooq on Monday.
The new OC Muhammad Moniruzzaman Mullah is the son of Md. Bachchu Mullah of Panchbaria village of Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj district. He joined Bangladesh Police as an SI in 1999 and was appointed as OC in 2024. He was promoted. He first worked as an OC at Golapganj Police Station and then joined Kulaura Police Station. He also worked in the United Nations peacekeeping mission. In his personal life, he is the father of 1 son and 1 daughter.
It is noteworthy that the recently retired OC Md. Omar Faruk joined the Beanibazar Police Station in Sylhet as the OC.
